The choir is available to sing at weddings and other services, tailoring the music to your specific requirements. For more information please contact the Secretary.

Library Concerts

As part of the community outreach, the choir performs more widely in the Salisbury Diocese, supporting local fundraising causes. This typically takes the form of a 1 hour concert of well-known choral works. Please contact the Secretary if you would like more information about these events.

Joining the Choir

The choir usually rehearses on a Thursday evening during term-time. Admission to the choir is via audition - this consists of singing a prepared piece, aural tests and sight-singing. Please download the questionnaire and send it to the Secretary to arrange a possible audition.

Current fees are £144 per annum, payable in instalments.  Bursaries to cover all or part of the fees are available, subject to the Choir committee' s approval, and to annual review.

Patrons

The Farrant Singers’ Patrons are friends and supporters of the choir, who contribute financially to its development and enjoy becoming involved with its success.  They enable us to finance our more ambitious projects, thus enriching the musical life of Salisbury and the area.

We are particularly grateful for their support when engaging young soloists and instrumentalists to perform with the choir, and when commissioning new music.

• Our appreciation and gratitude!

All we ask is a minimum donation of £20 per annum, though you may donate as much as you wish.  We can also collect Gift Aid on your donation if you are a UK taxpayer.  There are occasional opportunities to support particular special projects, or you may wish to sponsor a particular expense for one of our concerts.
