Monteverdi: Vespers

We joined Salisbury Musical Society as a guest choir, along with St. John's Singers and the Cathedral Choir, for this performance of Monteverdi’s famous Vespers of 1610

The orchestral accompaniment was provided by period instrument ensemble Florilegium.   www.florilegium.org.uk

 

This concert was part of the Cathedral’s (belated) celebration of its 800th anniversary and was conducted by David Halls.
